Me and Mine

Who am i? The reflection I see in the mirror, but that isnt what others see when they see me. Am I defined by who I think I am or others think I am.
Outside my personality (as percieved by me and others) what am I, just another drone?
And if personality is a matter of perception then I must not exist outside people's thoughts.
So then I might just be a figment of mine or others' imaginations.
Why are we as people so obssessed with figments of imaginations?

Footprints in the Sand

What we say, what we do and maybe even who we are, are all but foot prints in the sand. Here today gone tomorrow.
Why do we then try so hard to be someone we are not?
