I was in America when the war on Iraq began. As opposed as I was to it, I was always left dumbfounded when I heard people around me rationalise it. Their rationale was so weak. Lately all over the indian news is the Iraqi woman's blog that has been nominated for awards.

I read it, and it always sends a shiver down my spine for I cannot even begin to fathom what living like that daily means.

We have been following riverbend's blog since the start of the war. I am glad to see her get recognition. More importantly I wish peace for the Iraqi people, and who knows when that will be.
